About

A Century of Seafood

What began with a dream on Boston's Fish Pier grew to one of the world's most beloved Seafood Restaurants.

About

Shortly before the outbreak of the First World War – and a solid year before Harry Frazee sold Babe Ruth to the New York Yankees – Nick Contos debuted a seafood stand on South Boston’s Fish Pier serving fresh catches to fisherman undocking from a long day.

Our History

Nick didn’t name the place, and that name stuck. “If it works, leave it alone,” he said. Since then, the NoName has delivered fresh catches to folks like you who have come from all over the world to enjoy a memorable meal.

And they've been featured in every publication known to man, making the seafood restaurant as synonymous with Boston as Paul Revere and Fenway Park – for good reason: They serve great food in a fun, friendly atmosphere. No Family has served seafood in Boston longer than the Contos family at the No Name Restaurant on Boston’s Fish Pier. Come see for yourself why that is.
